Review

“Brittany’s book does a great job making women feel comfortable with lifting weights and explaining the importance of it. The explanations and illustrations of the exercises are easy to understand and follow!” ―Romina Denton, birth doula & breastfeeding counselor “The book is great! Brittany knows her stuff. Lifting weights can be intimidating, but Brittany makes it easy to understand and even shows you how to put the exercises together to get the best results. A must-have for any woman who is just starting her fitness journey or for those who want to learn more.” ―Billie Muscarella, personal trainer at Equinox, massage therapist “Lifting weights in any capacity can be overwhelming, confusing, and intimidating. Brittany Noelle does a stellar job of breaking down all the components to make it easier to navigate as well as providing the confidence to enter the gym.” ―Lindsey Crosby, Equinox Personal Trainer, NASM CPT

From the Author

This book is designed to provide you with baseline for weight training. I did not include specific weight amounts because the terms light, medium, and heavy, are subjective. In my own training, a light weight is 7.5lbs, medium is 15lbs, and heavy is 25lbs when it comes to dumbbells. I hope that is helpful.Additionally, the book doesn t come with free weights. It teaches you how to use them.
